Palm Springs are John & David. The scooter bug bit us both a few years ago while we were living in Atlanta. Our scooters (a Vespa and a Genuine Buddy) became our primary transportation for getting around the intown neighborhoods. Running errands, getting to the gym, dinner with friends, Sunday rides all over town; all these activities were made for scootering. We put over 3000 miles on them in the first year alone! Fortunes changed as they do and we moved to Palm Springs after many years of visiting Palm Springs and we brought our scooters too. With near perfect weather for scooting (i.e. no rain), wide streets, and an abundance of things to go see and do, it was a whole new way to see the desert like we had never done before; and a good idea for a business for our tourist friends too!
